Don't like the view. To me I see mostly pain while many

Many comeuppances off of victims of circumstance. Some
Living off chances while some just live for a chance. Enhance the
Weight of the hand by laying claim to God's Plan. Any plan
By the black man, brown man, native man, must be
Run up the Flagpole, as the power demands.  Power
Says I got your memo but I don't understand, I saw your
Hopes and your dreams, when I first did my scan, but we
Gave you all you needed because we saved this land, you're a
Valued asset to our team, but rescind your demands

Power concedes when power sees, the tears that we
Bleed, and even then, it might not wake its humanity
Power concedes when power sees, the rage in our
Energy, even then it might not shake its security
But we Fight on, march on, put voices to songs
That say we'll keep going strong so long as Power holds on
And we'll press on, lean on, the backs of our own
That learned to keep standing strong until that Power moved on

Each day, I greet the prospect of battle, With
A sigh and a stretch, before I climb in the saddle, Calm my
Mind for the fight, muscles limber to smite, Goliaths
Grown in this world to be the bringers of plight. I may get
Down, beat down, or bruised. but if you
Walked in my shoes you'd see I'm infused with ancestral ju-ju
And they don't want me to lose, If I were
You and played the odds, I would bet on black, instead of
Rigging the wheel spin to hold black back.  What's the
Achievement in the game, to win the spoils like that? Instead
Expect a Plaque with your name that proclaims the man that you be. Most
Likely to be miseducated by greed

Macro tendencies play out as micro indices of
Aggressive complacency when it comes to my needs.  I cry
Out at the offense, and you take offense as I wince under the
Blow and disregard you so willingly show.  Telling me
Let It Go, make like Elsa, and turn this pain to a
Magic show. Just wave your hands and say the words to be as
Whole as before. Then Power doesn't have to dwell on the sleights
Of their Own hand.  While I play a game of make-believe called
It's cool man. How dare I be so uncouth, when I speak
My truth? How dare I make you responsible, uncomfortable
With the things that you do the things that you do? It makes me feel like running
Away from you, after I light the fuse to make you go boom
