Cuz lately I've been feeling out of touch
People ask me how I'm doing and I beat around the bush
Beat around the bush to avoid my feelings
Why does the wrong way look so appealing?

Gotta stay straight, gotta screw my head on
Steady making these mistakes but I gotta move on
The world is suffering, I give up what I want
Cuz I know that Your love for me is better for my heart

I let it flood in and my worry dissipates
I got painful memories that I can't erase
But You bring me healing, tears running down my face
Your breath of life is endurance for this race

Lord help me cut to the chase
I am so amazed at Your conviction
When I try and run away
I need to listen

I get tired this way
But when I stay steadfast in Your word
I feel so light like I'm flying with the birds

You've been cleaning me up from all the grime and the dirt

In You I'm victorious
If you point something out I will adjust
No matter what sin cursing or lust
If You Tell me to do it than it is a must

When you're working through it it never feels nice
Gotta push through even when you can't  see light
Just because it feels good doesn't make it right
If your in a good mood don't trip stay tight

Joy comes in the morning, praying through the night
When you fall, don't quit, get back in the fight
Remember that His yoke is easy and His burden's light
