Walking through these city streets
The winter night is young
I'm watching as the people pass
As lovers laugh,  their working day is done
All the morning it's been snowing down
On this enchanted town
And I'm so many miles from home
I'm all alone, but I can feel you with me now

I carry my home in my heart
Carry, carry me home carry me home to you
How I miss you darlin' until I see you again
I will carry my home in my heart
Carry, carry me home carry me home to you
And you know it won't be long
Till I'm back where I belong

Looking back on all the years
Of family and friends
I see it very clearly now
I now they're all that matters in the end
And a lonely bell is ringing out
Its blessings to us all
And as I count them one by one
I know that I could never ask for more
