We often refer to people with mental health issues as dazy
We even go so far as to call them crazy
I'll have you know , it shouldn't be so easy
Especially, when our own lives are more than a 'lil bit too greasy

First I suggest, we put ourselves in order
Before we label someone with a mental health disorder
Let's examine ourselves & clean up the grout
Of hatred, envy, pride & all like emotions that sprout
Let's fill up with kindness, love, generosity & more
And allow all such to surge at the spot & begin to pour
Thereby helping to remove the drought

Spread a little love & kindness
Even a smile will do
You never know, you may be lifting the spirit of someone who's feeling sad & blue
Someone who thought their time was due.

Why not ignite life with a new spark
maybe a new flame will embark
Or a fire roar
As those with mental health disorders start to soar
You need to take it nice & slow
It might feel like you being pulled by a tow
Turn the music on & dance
I promise, you won't need company
Pump up the beat feel the heat
Let your feet move & just get into the groove.
Don't be afraid & tell yourself "NO"
But go right ahead and let it all go.

Start from the bottom, the centre or top
It matters not, 'cos once you start , you simply can't stop.
Be certain to clean every spot
Then give it a gleam with a clean, dry mop
You can't do it on your own I must warn,
Then you will end up with loads to mend or darn.
Seek first the guidance of a greater source
We all know that He rules & reigns in Heaven above
He will fill you with His magnificent love
And help you with a mighty force.
Help along the way you may find,
A parent, sister, brother, family member or friend
A stranger whom you may never encounter again
All, with love, kindness & care to unwind.
Be weary though, some play with your heart,
others with your mind
But that's because they still blind
Rest assured, the hurt & pain wont last
And that you will bloom just as fast
You will leave all the players looking aghast.

I once was a victim , that's how I know
But once I changed my mindset I now glow
Pills had me filled to the brim
That's what made life so grim
I sowed the seeds I speak of & watch myself grow
Oh! How I wish you could be part of this marvelous flow.

The outcome will leave you amazed
Now, it's your turn to be dazed
You will find that you love the sound of your own heartbeat
And you will discover  what makes your clock tick
I guess, that's what makes me a LUNATIC!
