A new era of peace
Our children will grow knowing the names of who died
Carry their souls
Carry their weight
Carry their bones to their final resting place

I feel the dread start setting in
A frigid wind whips at our backs
Push through the pain we owe them this
Their sacrifice brought us to bliss

We call to memories to reprieve
We pray to gods to guide them back
Though it pains me to say they're gone
Through our history they'll live on

Warriors are not lost to time
They brought us the strength
To carry onward toward our home and made us whole
Although we were lost
We still had our faith
Let us bury the fallen, those who kept us safe

They struggled far too many years
To repress of their pain and tears
Distinguished men who saved our lives
Leave them to rest until I arrive

For all those who have given everything
This grave marks their torment and agony
May their souls ascend to the heavens
Say goodbye for now to our passed friends

I have grown through the ages
Knowing the names of each man and woman
Who have martyred themselves for our people
As I look out at our growing kingdom
I can only stand here and weep for their sacrifices
By the mercy of our gods, may they live on
