KJ-52

Jonah Kirsten Sorrentino (born June 26, 1975), better known by his stage name KJ-52, is a Christian rapper from Tampa, Florida. The "KJ" part of his name refers to his old rap alias, "King J. Mac," a name which he later described in one of his podcasts as "horribly cheesy."[not in citation given] "52", which is pronounced "five two", not "fifty-two", is a reference to the Biblical story of Jesus feeding the multitude with five loaves and two fish, which is also sung about in his song "Push Up" from The Yearbook and in the "KJ Five Two" on It's Pronounced 'Five Two.[not in citation given] He was awarded the Rap/Hip Hop Recorded Song of the Year for "Never Look Away" and Rap/Hip Hop Album of the Year at the GMA Dove Awards of 2007. One percent better every single day
I got to move man I got to pray
No way i could lose so get out the way
I'm coming through it's time to change
Running with lions I'm leading the pack
I'm slaying my giants and he got the back
I'm standing defiant I'm speaking the facts
I'm forged with an iron I'm swinging the axe
I'm bringing it back we on the map
We on the track next up to bat
Don't need to brag don't need a bag
Don't need to front He got the back
Let it just settle in while Im remembering
When the adrenaline had me just trembling
Bet on the veteran I'm coming better when
More than I I ever been man I just better win
Now that it settled it
You can just send me in
Man its so evident rapper slash reverend
I'm a just get it in never surrendering
One percent better every single day
I got to move man I got to pray
No way i could lose so get out the way
I'm coming through it's time to change
Down to the wire back to the wall
Somedays it be like that
Man I'm thrown in the fire I fight and I crawl
But I know I'm going to be right back
Lost and Im tired fight and I fall
But I know this thing gone pass
With my head held high i'm a stand tall
Till I'm gone breath my last
Just a veteran I'm getting better when
Stand with the brethren known that I better win
I ain't rest of them I ain't stressing them
All the would've could've should've been
They want to pull me in
I'm screaming out put me in
Feeling brand new within
Everyday you begin
To pull me on thru to win
All the way to the end
One percent better every single day
I got to move man I got to pray
No way i could lose so get out the way
I'm coming through it's time to change
One percent better every single day
I got to move man I got to pray
No way i could lose so get out the way
I'm coming through it's time to change
Everyday better it could be worse
So I'm putting you first
Everyday better it could be worse
So I'm putting you first
