Let the chemicals melt away all my problems
Melt away my heart
Film over my eyes, product of my art
Let the reel play out, reflections of my heart
Blue-lipped gasping for air, swimming with the sharks
Blue eyes look into my soul leave behind a blotch
Beauty and bruised marks they're all blue
Blue in the face
Blue in my veins
Blue in these words
Blooming in blue
Consumed by grace
I face grief with my shoulders tucked, chin up, eyes down
Break every bone in my body before I bow down
Only bow to God
How'd I make it where am I now?
It's only grace that's kept me out the ground
But still living through the blue
Embrace the highs and lows just always make a move
Embarking on a journey, feel depression in the room,
An elephant up on my mood
Elated that I'm feeling blue
Because it's better than nothing
Could you tell if I was telling the truth?
Because maybe I'm bluffing
Regardless I bloom in the blue
