It had to be done for you to stumble across

I can see the risk you were taking
It was there every night, all of your own making
How deep was the fear of something you might miss
Moving on, year on year, it must have been sheer bliss
Once you start there could never ever be enough
It felt right in your heart as long as you stayed tough
