I felt like, I was hovering above my own body, watching myself sing
I wish I could get, a brand new pair of flesh
Step out of my skin and walk around as someone else
Closed my eyes and sighed, when I walked into my room
Didn't open them until, I made it past the mirror on my wall
I keep picking at the skin around my fingernails, hoping it'll come off

I looked at my hands, for the first time in a while
Thought that I was analyzing someone else
I was getting ready for the day, everything was blurry
Until i remembered that my eyes are weak and need help
I tried to take a step out of the house, forgot my feet inside
They don't even feel like they're the right size
Compare myself to everybody else, gender doesn't matter, I just wish I could wear brand New flesh

My body points away
While i was adjusting my mask
It feels like it's attached to my face
I'd rather you not see it
I'd prefer if it just stayed a mass of pixels
