Old heads and boomers got the nerve to call us lazy
But we just know our worth somebody tell them bout inflation
15 dollars in the 80s more than 50 now
But they don't want to give us raises that shit trips me out
Our first election we watched dumb and dumber face each other
Country polarized as when north and south faced each other
Had to protest for our sisters while they killed our brothers
Trynna discover ourself while we go through this struggle
Everybody go through shit but it seems like we been through more
You don't got to win every battle make sure you win the war
Then when you look back later at the moments you had to endure
Peel back some of those layers we the strongest at the core
