I should tell you how it is to your face because you think it's different
But I be way too busy for it and besides I brush it off
Because I got my own opinion and I know that yours is wrong
Like tell me why would I be concerned about what you think
A lot of people need attention and they need it too quick

I keep that on the low though so nobody know, that's just the way I do shit
It's far from just a phase though I've been like this all along
And if I got some shit to get up off my chest I write a song
Because this the only thing I ever had in my life to ever make me comfortable
So if they disrespect me or insult me then I'm done with them
And when it comes to that I don't forgive and don't forget
You might think that it's petty but no it's not, just let me vent
Just think about it like this instead, we had the same opportunity
To learn about ourselves, about the world and where the beauty be
I understand it comes from within and I choose to spread it
But you didn't spend that time and that's the reason you don't get it
So you don't even spread a message, all you spread is negativity
When you speak and through your actions you gotta be kidding me 
And have the nerve to wonder why you can't make friends
Why you're unhappy and why everybody leaves you in the end
Man go and check the mirror, shit you know that's harsh but it's true
Because I don't f*ck around with love, and I don't waste time with a fool
I'd rather you tell me what's up from the jump, because I've had enough
Of this underhanded backstabbing hating shit I'm done
And I hate the fact I even have to write this
Usually be so excited for the day I wake up smiling, but I often get reminded
The world is full of people narrow minded,
So I do the shit I want and don't expect them all to like it
And now I made my own wave I ride it
And whatever feeling comes to me I never try to hide it, I just write it
It's the most human thing that I could do
So connected to myself that I can tell they're jealous of the way I view
Like every situation, f*ck them though I'm moving on
I know a lot of them wish that they never moved along
That's just some thoughts that's popping up, and when I think I've had enough
I just think about how I'm getting started barely warming up
I got a lot more to give than what I've been giving
Because I want to give a lot more than what I was given
That's the reason I've been distant but don't feel bad
Because I know I worked so much
I see my work and proudly look, mentally I straighten up 
Like yeah I did all this man what the f*ck did they do
Apart from nothing every single year they make the same moves
Not only is it not progressing, but that's regressing
Because if you are not growing then you're going down and that's a little lesson 
So let me talk my shit, remind myself that I do this for real
Got my favourite watch and yeah I got my favourite wheels
Got my favourite mind state that I've been in, it's as tough as steel
So I build it from the ground, if i want it don't need to steal 
Really all I do is keep it real with you and with me
And I'm only talking all my shit to show you what we can be
I just want to see you unlock your potential
Promoting self belief because that shit is truly special
