Well its been a hell of a weekend
It all got started when I was speeding down highway twelve
Hell I'm glad he didn't take me to jail
Burning eighty in a fifty-five when I saw those blue and red and white lights track me down
Well I didn't let it get me down

Well I got a couple buddies waiting on me and the girl I love in the passenger seat
Who's got a hankering for a cold one
Hell yeah it was a cold one
Then my buddy noah went and lit the fire
And Quinn brought his truck and spun them tires
Hell we all had a good time
Because its always a good time
Then I almost wrecked my truck around the bend
It's been a hell of a weekend

The next day started off slow and I took a trip down to the nearest corner store
And bought me a pack of coors
I was gonna drink them till momma called and said you and chuck are being hunted by the law
I didn't think we'd done much wrong
But I guess it's time to get the hell out of dodge
I ain't got much time but I sure am glad you called
