Oh, hello And welcome to "Story Time" with James Bunyan I am your host, James Bunyan Today, I will be reading an excerpt from "The Mighty Enduring of Rabbit Hill" by Murray Emerland It's actually not an excerpt, it's the whole thing Let me just find it here It should be in here somewhere Ah, here it is "The Mighty Enduring of Rabbit Hill" by Murray Emerland A magical hare on a walk in the woods and he comes upon a hill He's being chased by a lion, and sees no way by him, and goes over the hill The lion behind him catches up to find him a trembling mass of fur So he gobbles him down, and then turns around, and walks back down the hill Bing, bang, boodley bop Ting, tang, toodley top Sing, sang, soodley sop And the lunchtime bells, and the jingle shells, and the jungle drums flying high above the treetops sing a melody that takes me far away A mystical hare on a turn through the trees and he comes upon a hill There's no one behind him but old prince Al Qaeda, who goes over the hill The rabbit then sees this, and trying to flee this, he goes around the hill But remembering logic, he bumps into Sonic, and apologizes on the way down Ling, lang, loodley lop Ming, mang, moodley mop Zing, zang, zoodley zop And the lunchtime bells, and the jingle shells, and the jungle drums flying high above the treetops sing a melody that takes me far away An illiterate hare, underburning the breeze, understands what is not hill A million beside him, with billions in hiding, and trillions all over the hill Being a rabbit, he steals away habit, and burrows right into the hill And all of the rabbits that did not exist are forevermore safely endured Ring, rang, roodley rop Cling, clang, cloodley clop Tinkely, tankely, bin of white socks And the lunchtime bells, and the headache swells, and the jungle drums beating loud above the treetops form a cacophony that carries me back home This has been "Story Time" with James Bertram Thanks
