Through illusions and mirrors, they got us believing that we're better off than most of the rest
So we never understand just how close to inferno we are, and how fast it can all come to pass
So while profiting of their false prophecy they keep offloading your problems to non fungible tokens of a parallel reality

Through the powers of marketing, they got us thinking what they really want us to think
And we never realize that being poor and abandoned is what makes us feel like we never get there
So we never unite under the same simple banner of demanding a better life for everyone on this planet
And we never realize that they depend on our protection and we could simply ditch them whenever and wherever
So they keep us going, the wheels turning, on the way to an alternative reality where they tell us

Folks! You gotta pay for this wars we're fighting
To keep the one percent getting richer
And fulfill our goals of domination of the population
We don't really care that you like it
And you're going to pay regardless
Because, look, we have the best marketing intellectuals on our side
We can manipulate you to think that this is actually good for you
And that you don't need to earn more
And that if you can't have bread, have cake!
It doesn't matter that you keep dying
And by the way, you have to go to the front to bleed for our money
That we'll disguise as some cheap freedom bullshit
And if you realize it, well
Then maybe let's play on your deepest fears and resentments
We'll play with your feelings to keep you distracted and fighting each other
Because, yes we can
