Night or nighttime is the period of time between the sunset and the sunrise when the Sun is below the horizon. This occurs after dusk. The opposite of night is day (or "daytime" to distinguish it from "day" as used for a 24-hour period). About a half a tank from home and I laid on the sidewalk and thought. Maybe the wold world and all it has to give is right here. She played me guitar while I stood in the bathroom looking in the mirror and wondering. Why am I so lost? when I know where I am. In a dark backyard singing to my friends. Sometimes her eyes catch the moon and all I have is that glance. So in the street after the show I told her I'd walk home. She got in the car but I wonder if she thought about it first. Most times I know that she's in love with some one else. But there've been a few times where I couldn't tell. I think I fell in love with that town. But I still ran home just as fast as I knew how. To forget my new favorite face in the whole world.
