We elected like a presidential candidate
To be a representative of Christ and keep our candles lit
I know this message won't sit well with all whose hearing it
But I gotta speak the truth regardless if these people feeling it
Cuz I'm getting sick of the misconceptions
That we express when we don't understand
So I will contend for the Truth that's given
So we can be cleansed & have true vision
Of our Father in Heaven cuz He isn't sitting
Up there shaking His head wishing we would leave Him
Alone instead He is slowly redeeming us
Back to Himself through the blood of His Son Jesus
And He loves every born heathen
Cuz we all got a purpose for breathing
So Jesus is interceding that we may leave sin
Repent believing He wants to be friends!
