In a furniture city
Drawing cars, swatting flies
Trading cards, riding bikes
Tragedy was impotence
To bury all his innocence
Now broken and unbreakable
Cocky and unshakable
He didn't even know
That he was not the same
He was filled with shame
The ones who loved him most
Who gave their time away
Watched their hair turn grey
But the plant bit back
Without regard for who watered him
Still they pruned and poured

He find a silver watering can
He cleans off all it's dust and dirt
He sees himself he sees his hurt
With his watering can
He buys a plot of land
Tills it all by hand
Each and every morning

Most his plants have grown

Still he prunes and pours
