Kywn

KYWN (890 AM) is a radio station licensed to Meridian, Idaho, and serving the Boise metropolitan area. It airs a Spanish-language Christian radio format and is owned by Impacto Network, Inc. It calls itself La Perla (The Pearl), using the slogan Alimente Su Alma (Feed Your Soul). KYWN is a Class D station. By day, it broadcasts at the maximum power for AM stations, 50,000 watts. But at night, to protect WLS in Chicago, the dominant Class A station on 890 AM, it must greatly reduce power to 125 watts. It uses a non-directional antenna at all times. The transmitter is on Kuna Mora Road at Pleasant Valley Road in Kuna, Idaho. more »

KYWN got the tunes

I listened to my heart, but then I went astray
I might've met the one, messed up and pushed her away (Yeah, yeah, yeah)
I guess I'll never know 'cause I cannot take it back (No, no, no)
And now she's out my life, so I have to live with that
I listened to my heart, but then I went astray
I might've met the one, messed up and pushed her away (No, no, no)
I guess I'll never know 'cause I cannot take it back (Yeah, yeah, yeah)
And now she's out my life, so I have to live with that, lesson learned

Life has a funny way of never working how you expect it
I mean, look at how you and I connected
Initially, you weren't even the one that had a thing for me
Which is interesting because we clicked more naturally
Spent time together happily
Making each other smile despite anything that was happening
Talked about any problems, instead of opting to passively
Be aggressive while silently
Getting madder and honestly
I couldn't wait to have a chance to meet your family
And when I did, I was glad it went over pleasantly
You were always the best part of my day
And my night, texting back and forth until it got late
So what went wrong? What could possibly have sealed our fate?
I'm truly sorry 'cause I was the one that got in our way
And I would say that I'm surprised if it didn't happen before
But there's no way that you can weather when you're the cause the storm

I listened to my heart, but then I went astray
I might've met the one, messed up and pushed her away (Yeah, yeah, yeah)
I guess I'll never know 'cause I cannot take it back (No, no, no)
And now she's out my life, so I have to live with that
I listened to my heart, but then I went astray
I might've met the one, messed up and pushed her away (No, no, no)
I guess I'll never know 'cause I cannot take it back (Yeah, yeah, yeah)
And now she's out my life, so I have to live with that, lesson learned

It took a bit of time for me to get my mind right
And reassess the situation with a bit of hindsight
To understand why when everything was going well
I would throw it all away by sabotaging myself
I talked to one of my homies, he helped me realize
The root of the issue lied in the fact that I had feared I
Would end up broken-hearted, which was extremely selfish
Especially 'cause the "reasoning" I had was really groundless
But it had been compounded
By misconceptions I founded
Growing up thinking relationships had to overcome mountains
I know the way I'm sounding is pretty ridiculous
Like, "are you serious?"
You would have been more than justified if you had been furious
But somehow you weren't, or you just didn't show it
It's hard for me to say, just like it's hard for me to know if
Things would be any different if I had realized before
'Cause there's no way to weather when you're the cause of the storm

I listened to my heart, but then I went astray
I might've met the one, messed up and pushed her away
I guess I'll never know 'cause I cannot take it back
And now she's out my life, so I have to live with that
I listened to my heart, but then I went astray
I might've met the one, messed up and pushed her away
I guess I'll never know 'cause I cannot take it back
And now she's out my life, so I have to live with that, lesson learned

Lesson learned
Woah
Uh
Lesson learned

I listened to my heart, but then I went astray
I might've met the one, messed up and pushed her away (Yeah, yeah, yeah)
I guess I'll never know 'cause I cannot take it back (No, no, no)
And now she's out my life, so I have to live with that
I listened to my heart, but then I went astray
I might've met the one, messed up and pushed her away (Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)
I guess I'll never know 'cause I cannot take it back (Oh, no, no)
And now she's out my life, so I have to live with that, lesson learned
