Two weeks and I'm not the same
You shouldn't even know my name
How am I supposed to be okay
When I don't know the one to blame?
Four in the morning
I've been up since two, you know this
Acquiescence
Ain't that how he'd describe this?
Burning pictures
Aren't we all vulnerable people?
You've taken over
Keeping me from my closure
Two weeks and I'm not the same
You shouldn't even know my name
How am I supposed to be okay
When I don't know the one to blame?
But two months ain't wasted away these
Hotel lobbies smell like change
And your voice has not stopped echoing
And I don't know the one to blame
Yeah.
Two weeks and I'm not the same
You shouldn't even know my name
How am I supposed to be okay
When I don't know the one to blame?
Two months ain't wasted away these
Hotel lobbies smell like change
And your voice has not stopped echoing
And I don't know the one to blame
Got me feeling the way that I used to
Back when me and Abby thought we knew
How to run away to Tuvalu
And be back after a week or two
Aye aye aye, ya girl's still mentally high
In the cinema's bright neon sign
Counting between the traffic lights
Groceries and graffiti every night
But now I've got the stories and the songs
And I'd wish you'd been there all along
I wish the way you made me feel was wrong
But I'm thinking 'bout you all night long
And I'm in the Italian grocery line
As I watch my whole world come alive
Stole his glasses, but I call you mine
Groceries and graffiti every night
Two weeks and I'm not the same
You shouldn't even know my name
How am I supposed to be okay
When I don't know the one to blame?
Two months ain't wasted away these
Hotel lobbies smell like change
And your voice has not stopped echoing
And I don't know the one to blame
And the tears are streaming down my face
All while you're scattered haphazardly
And I'm dancing 'round each puzzle piece
To your song that's playing in the streets
And I swear we're already intertwined
So that before I met you that night
I had already ruined your life
Groceries and graffiti every night
