Have I made a mistake?
Is this really what I wanna do?
Should I let it break?
Or should I see it through?
I don't know what's best for me
They say I don't know what I'm doing
Maybe I don't, I don't know
But I'm gonna see where this goes
Opportunities they come and pass by
I let them all down it's what I do most times
Everyone's rooting for me
But all I do is end up disappointing
Didn't go the path everybody else went
Cause I wanted to do something more different
Maybe I should've took the road
Maybe if I did I wouldn't be alone

In my head, there's too much happening
Guess maybe I don't know what I'm doing
I've always known I was my own worst enemy
But now I realize all the things wrong with me
Setting myself up for failure
I don't know what's next for my future
Hate to admit maybe they were right
But maybe I'm gonna be just fine
And then when they see how I'm doing
They'll realize in the end I just wanted to be free
Free from the past, I wanna restart
Life's much more than a broken heart

So, have I made a mistake?
I think this is really what I wanna do
I'm so glad I didn't let it break
I'm so glad I chose to see it through
Of course I wish things had went a different way
But that's okay, I'm gonna get there some day
I'm still anxious, I will be for some time
But at least I get to call life mine
I've never put myself first before
It was always something else, I'd be watching their score
I see how happy they can be
So why can't I have that for me?
I'm still young, I wanna have fun
There's so much out there to be done
I'm gonna be everything I dream
I hope someday to feel worthy
