See I'm not great at expressing emotions
So I'm sorry for the lack of definite motion
I hold back; never open up
So I write these songs to help hold me up
But I can promise if you give me a chance
I'll be so damn excited
I'll be pissin my pants
I promise that I'll make you laugh, and give you extra packs of Kool-Aid
And listen to every single word that you say
And I'll respect your independence
Whenever you need some time for yourself
You inspire me to be a better version of myself
And you came along when I most needed your help
