My dad told my mom
That I was a gift

I kept struggling with my life
My parents got divorced

I got addicted to that drug
And forgot about my sorrows

I didn't smoke no more
Because I knew better
And I choose my own path
I decided to have respect
For all the troubles that I had
Because I go forward
And not think about the past
