Six months I promised myself
Until I was nursed back into health
But you make me want to break that
Or maybe it's all the beer I've had
I couldn't tie my shoes
For this morning I was thinking of you
Staring down at my laces
Thinking of tying the knot with you

Six times I should have left
But my feet just wouldn't do what I said
But thank God my mouth stopped them
Gobs full of shite and phlegm

And fell down the stairs when I got home
I still have the bruises
And I still look like a looser
