And everywhere You went, You healed, and Your glory was revealed
And one day You went back into Your hometown
But when You got up to teach, they asked where You learned such things
They said we know all about you, you're no better than us
There's no way you know more than we do, what's with all the fuss
And You marveled at their unbelief
O Lord, let that be far from me
I want to recognize who I'm approaching
Are You waiting for one who will see
There's nothing too hard for this King
Oh I want to have a faith so great it leaves You

Once a well-respected fellow had to find You
One he loved was sick at home, so he had to let You know
You don't have to go there, You can just say the word
And that man was a gentile but believed the things he'd heard
So You marveled at their unbelief
O Lord, let that be far from me

Let me never be guilty of insulting Your majesty
By thinking I could want something greater
Than the highest, kindest, strongest, sweetest, most-lavish King could dream for me
If I show You faith, You'll show me glory
Like that woman on the road, who reached out to touch Your robe
I can be that lady or the crowd who refused
You saw unbelief, they saw no mighty work from You
The Creator sat in front of them
But they did not recognize Him
He gave them life and everything they cherished
Oh but it won't be so in this place
When You return, You will find faith
You'll see my heart still seeking and knocking
