I woke up in the dry Mojave, by an old wooden chair and a young cottonwood tree
Standing on a dry lake bed, Cumulus clouds were floating over my head

On the far edge of an ancient dry lake shore
I saw a distant figure I could not ignore
He walked straight up, sat in that chair, and I could see it was Lucifer sitting there
