Delacroix

Ferdinand Victor Eugène Delacroix ( DEL-ə-krwah, -KRWAH, French: [øʒɛn dəlakʁwa]; 26 April 1798 – 13 August 1863) was a French Romantic artist regarded from the outset of his career as the leader of the French Romantic school. In contrast to the Neoclassical perfectionism of his chief rival Ingres, Delacroix took for his inspiration the art of Rubens and painters of the Venetian Renaissance, with an attendant emphasis on colour and movement rather than clarity of outline and carefully modelled form. Could we grow our wings and fly?
Never touch the ground again
Higher than ever before
Singing with the birds in the sky
How?
How can you look the way you do?
I'm miserable without you
Every time that you look away, I
Love you more than before
How?
How can you look the way you do?
I'm miserable without you
Every time that you look away, I
Fall from the sky, right down to the floor
Ooh, ooh, oh, oh
Ooh, ooh, oh, oh
Ooh, ooh, oh, oh
Ooh, ooh, oh, oh
Ooh, ooh, oh, oh
Ooh, ooh, oh, oh
Ooh, ooh, oh, oh
Ooh, ooh, oh, oh
Ooh, ooh, oh, oh
Ooh, ooh, oh, oh
Ooh, ooh, oh, oh
Ooh, ooh, oh, oh
When I close my eyes I see
A better life ahead me
And I look down right at my feet
But you're not standing next to me
And I cry
And I cried
And I cried
I pray the wind would sweep off my feet
And lead me straight into my dreams
I said...
How?
How can you look the way you do?
I'm miserable without you
Every time that you look away, I
Love you more than before
How?
How can you look the way you do?
I'm miserable without you
Every time that you look away, I
Fall from the sky, right down to the floor
Ooh, ooh, oh, oh
Ooh, ooh, oh, oh
Ooh, ooh, oh, oh
Ooh, ooh, oh, oh
Ooh, ooh, oh, oh
Ooh, ooh, oh, oh
Ooh, ooh, oh, oh
Ooh, ooh, oh, oh
Ooh, ooh, oh, oh
Ooh, ooh, oh, oh
Ooh, ooh, oh, oh
Ooh, ooh, oh, oh
