Manfred

Manfred: A dramatic poem is a closet drama written in 1816–1817 by Lord Byron. It contains supernatural elements, in keeping with the popularity of the ghost story in England at the time. It is a typical example of a Gothic fiction. Byron commenced this work in late 1816, only a few months after the famous ghost-story sessions with Percy Bysshe Shelley and Mary Shelley that provided the initial impetus for Frankenstein. The supernatural references are made clear throughout the poem. Manfred was adapted musically by Robert Schumann in 1852, in a composition entitled Manfred: Dramatic Poem with Music in Three Parts, and later by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky in his Manfred Symphony. Baby my man
I know you're mine
With you, it's your life
I wish it wasn't lies
Don't tell me no more
I know I'm crazy alright
F*ck daises and lilies
I'd rather need a red, red rose
Not a black one but a red, red rose
Not even sunflowers for lunch
I know I'm crazy alright
F*ck daises and lilies
I'd rather be your red, red rose
Water in the sky
Raindrops falling
Water to the fire
That's love for me
Looking in your eyes
That's where your heart is
Girl don't play no games, I know you do this on purpose
Ain't no way you this flawless
With you, it's peaches and mangos
It's sunrise and rainbows
You a crazy combination
At night we smoke and then we start a crazy conversation
The way you arch your back, girl that's a crazy demonstration
Your pitch getting too high, o girl is you Asian?
Tease me, baby,
Turn around and let me please you, baby
O my luve's like a red, red rose
You my red, red rose
Baby my man
I know you're mine
With you, it's your life
I wish it wasn't lies
Don't tell me no more
I know I'm crazy alright
F*ck daises and lilies
I'd rather need a red, red rose
Not a black one but a red, red rose
Not even sunflowers for lunch
I know I'm crazy alright
F*ck daises and lilies
I'd rather be your red, red rose
You keep running in my mind I can't get you off
You keep me calm you ease my mind you're like fentanyl
Baby come over
If you leave me, I'm sober
You keep popping like soda
I don't mind if I own ya
Oh yeah
Cause I just wanna hold you, kiss you, please you
Make everything you wish for come through, that's true
And nothing really matters when I'm with you
When I'm with you, let me put it in you
Tease me, baby,
Turn around and let me please you, baby
Your love is like a red, red rose
Your love is like a red, red rose
Baby my man
I know you're mine
With you, it's your life
I wish it wasn't lies
Don't tell me no more
I know I'm crazy alright
F*ck daises and lilies
I'd rather need a red, red rose
Not a black one but a red, red rose
Not even sunflowers for lunch
I know I'm crazy alright
F*ck daises and lilies
I'd rather be your red, red rose
Red, red rose
Oh red, red rose
Oh red, red rose
