Skipped over hills tired and merry
Enough time mommy was laid to rest
Breath of life loose around her chest
They found the bush red roses
Bent their backs
For the sake of their noses
Connected hands
They sang songs spinning
Endless hours of fun beginning
Rang around the Rosie's petals
Sun smiled as it burned their freckles
Dashed to home
Worried about mommy
Knocked on her door, said hurry
Sprinkled roses all over her body
Over cheeks and all of her markings
She succumbed they sobbed and cried
Until all their tears completely dried
Then the time came grey day
Drained the comfort
Of this terrible day
Fire ignited in the thick of the mist
When we wait until the flames persist
Mother ascended to the brink of dusk
Ashes and ashes fallen back to dust

Children went to mourn

Soon departed

To their hometown
