Down to the bar on Friday night
Drinking beer with the guys till about midnight
He shoots a little pool and tells a pack of lies
He takes the back roads home

Dancing with the girls on country a line
Two for one till she feels just right

They wake up in the morning up close to noon
Drinking strong hot coffee after waking so soon
Wearing his boxers she's in his old T-shirt
They're two country rednecks playing till they get back to work

Going to the club on Saturday night
She looks in the closet for something real tight
On the way to the club they hit a buffet bar
Then they work it all off to some red-hot country guitar

He wipes off his boot puts on his old blue jeans
Puts a bottle in the pick-up down under the seat
Throws his tackle box in getting ready to leave
She shaves her legs and puts her make-up on
And walks through the bedroom talking on the phone

Sunday morning still awake
They hook up the boat take it out on the lake
They tie the boat down in a big tree's shade
In the middle of nowhere sparks start to fly
But they have to knock it off as some boats cruise by

Late Sunday night aching and red
Whining Monday morning as they get out of bed
Red eyed and numb at the ole salt mine
