Well I figure the story has gone on long enough 
cbout the reindeer games and me having it rough
cnd I'll tell you a side of the story that's never been told

The truth about what really happened that night
When I led the sleigh on its once a year flight
cnd who it was that really had ahold of the reins
 
It all started at the poles Christmas party that year
When Clause the elves and us reindeer 
Got together with a few of our rowdy friends

Willie Waylon and Cash just to name a few
cnd olé Hank took the stage about a quarter till two
cnd up on the table went Santa playing air guitar
 
Well it was all good till about the third yeehaw 
When the strap broke loose on his overalls 
cnd they came to a rest down around the top of his boots

I'll have a Blue Christmas was the song Hank was playing
cnd I can't repeat what Mrs. Clause was saying
But it didn't seem to bother Santa, he never missed a beat

She commenced to telling how that he had no dad
cnd his mom was a dog but when it got bad
Is when she stood right up in her chair and grabbed him by the beard

She pulled his head down where she could look him in the eye
cnd said old man unless your willing to die 
You better get down off that table by the count of three

Well he forgot about the overalls down around his boots
cnd he tried to step down on the count of two
cnd I don't have to tell yawl what happened next

The old saying that he shook like a bowl full of jelly
Started that night when he landed on his belly
But he wasn't laughing then it was more of a groan

Well ole Hank came running to help St. Nick
Mrs. Clause laugh so had she got sick
But not before she bent over double and wet her depends
 
Santa raised up and whispered something in Hanks ear
Told him a horse isn't much different than a deer 
cnd if he could ride a Tennessee stud he could drive a sleigh

So, the very next night we made our rounds
Dropping off presents from town to town
cnd I was the one out front, the leader of the pack

But it wasn't the weather that got me that role
c fat man in red or a bright shinny nose
It was a man in boots chrome shades and a cowboy hat

Yea Mr. Bocephus was the pilot that night 
cnd for all these years it's been kept quite
But now you know the truth so spread the word

You can start your story by saying Rudolph said
That he'll tell the truth until he dead
cnd he only told exactly what he saw
