So comes the first carol, echoing clear
Its melody rings out for all to hear
Now hatred is hushed and discord denied
Peace fills our hearts voices reach to the sky

All of good will, be united and strong
As harmonious voices join in the song

Against  injustice and greed's bitter sting
Our voices we raise, in peace un-i-ting
Through ages untold, our plea resounds
For truth and compassion to be found

Bias and hatred, division they breed
Have cried through the ages, of man's urgent need
Imperfect we strive, through darkness we roam
Fueled by the promise of hope's vibrant tone
The first carol brings us to clarity's door
To usher sweet peace, forevermore

All of good will, be united and strong
As harmonious voices join in our song

Through despair we struggle, in darkness we grope
Spurred on by that promise so pulsing with hope
The angels' first carol, again we sing
In harmony, everyone un-I-I-ting

Together we 'll stand, united we'll soar
Our chorus of goodwill swells forevermore
Throughout all time, let compassion shine
