So down here, saints patiently wait, waiting for the sound of the trumpet, so we can get
A chance to stand in judgment outside Heaven's gate

For some, it will be too late to get in, because they have chosen to live in a world full of
Sin, and they have all failed
A world deprived of God may as well be hell
Its inhabitants will be able to tell

Did you think this as bad as living would get
Can I invite you to let that question in your mind just sit
It's up to you to choose what you would do with it

God's house has many rooms
Please do not choose to live in gloom

The Gospel isn't a secret we are all called to share
Who are you hoping to see when you finally make it there
Would you look for them as your eyes scan the crowd
Would you wonder if their name in the book of life was read aloud

After everything they've done, do you think they will be allowed
Giving their life to Jesus Christ, did they make the sacred water vow
In front of his throne, throughout their life, on their knees, did they bow
Don't wait to worry about it then

Worry about it right now
The enemy walks
Can't you hear its lions growl
It's playing real foul

Turn its hungry smile into a scrowl
Heaven is not a fictional place filled with fluffy white clouds
