Used to think I was born on the cutting room floor
A mistake, a red flag and what's it all for
Could have used what I learned in the last few years a long time ago
I was abused as a child from a very young age
And that's not an excuse but its a messed up thing
I was an arrogant kid and I'll admit it didn't help me none
Used to preach about a god who'd forgive all my sins
I knew I was a liar bout the whole damn thing
It wasn't a dream when I left my home one day and lost everything
Yeah, I spent the night in jail, a whole 24 hours
Stepped in front of a judge in a Rockingham court
Didn't have any time to tell any more lies so I got some county time
243 days, spent my time on the floor, washed and waxed that thing
Learned a couple of skills I thought I'd use every day at the end of it
So now here I am, 26 years of age
Just tryna make a living, make some people think
If everybody gets a second chance someday
