There's a push and a pull in my mind
I believe every lie that seeps in to drown me
And If I took the time I would find that the love that I need and I want lives inside me

Too much noise
Come on quiet down
And meet me in surround sound
So peace can take this crown
I think you need to calm down
Keep it simple
Your emotion has a ripple
Let it go

But these thoughts keep me up at night
Like does the path I'm on feel aligned
Take too long and they'll pass you by
Ambition said: work or your worthless

You be tryna rush rush
Take beat can you see that you're not living in reality
I be feelin so good good
And nobody can say I don't flow to my own tempo

You be tryna rush rush
I be puttin' on my blush blush
Lookin' too good so hush hush
Fire to the structure
I cleared up my aura
And nobody can say I don't flow to my own tempo

VERSE 2
Yeah I'm crying again cuz the answers I have in my head they just don't satisfy me
All the guarantees promised and not yet fulfilled
Got me thinking it's just not meant to be

Too much noise
Come on quiet down
And meet me in surround sound
So peace can take this crown
I think you need to calm down
Keep it simple
Your emotion has a ripple
Let it go

You be tryna rush rush
I be puttin' on my blush blush
Lookin' too good so hush hush
Fire to the structure
I cleared up my aura
And nobody can say I don't flow to my own tempo

A dark hole is no place for a vast soul
A tight skirt only fits with a breath hold
A tin chest is really just a death mold

You be trynna rush rush
good good

You be trynna rush rush
good good
