As the years went on
I'd teach myself the music
My sister, Kim, would always play
And when she started taking me to shows
I figured out pretty quick

The past twenty years I've been playing my guitar
I've jammed my heart out dreaming to be a rock star
And I gotta thank my family for being so encouraging
