Michael Colburn

Michael J. Colburn (born 1964,Vermont) is the Director of Bands at Butler University and was the 27th Director of the United States Marine Band and a colonel in the Marine Corps. Colburn joined "The President's Own" Marine Band in 1987 as a euphonium player and became the band's director in 2004. Colburn is a native of St. Albans, Vermont, and graduated from Bellows Free Academy there in 1982. He attended Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam for two years before transferring to Arizona State University, where he earned his bachelor's degree in music performance in 1986. This is our first Christmas. Will cherish it together forever. So let's light up the tree and snuggle with me underneath the mistletoe. Will kiss by the fire then we will retire, so Santa can do his thing.

This is our first Christmas. With you, life couldn't be any better. Will wake up Christmas morning together we'll be a gift, so precious to me than any present underneath the Christmas tree.

This Christmas, my darling, the happiest time, where the winter chill blows in with a thrill, the most wonderful time of the year. Our hearts will be glowing and everyone knowing that you are my greatest gift. We'll walk down the lane. Our hearts will explain why we're kissing and loving in the rain.
