Welcome to my world, it's a place and time
Where if you try to live for Christ it's a social crime
Not trying to be a gangster with my back to wall
Just trying to live a Godly life but I still stumble and fall
If you stand up for truth, then it's a social sin
But if you back down, then society wins
And it's not the kind of win that's good for our team
It's a soul crushing win, and there's no in-between
People today don't know who they serve
They're just yelling and screaming, trying to be heard
But they don't understand how a soul can be lost
Or how their sin was bought through the blood on the cross
But if you wanna be heard over the yell of the crowd
Then you gotta stand up and shout the truth out loud

Society says that up is down, left is right
And God don't wear no crown
The sins of this world make it so deranged
Call me a filthy animal -you can keep your change
Social media says that woman is man
To kill the family - that's the ultimate plan
The Father hates sin, and it's so deranged
But I'll keep following His word - you can keep your change

You can walk through your hood and still see the cost
Of lopsided justice, and all the lives lost
The truth of the matter is our leaders don't care
As long as you vote, and their power's not spared
They'll give you a promise, and even break bread
But like a roaring lion, they'll still come for your head
They want you enslaved, but not to the Son of Man
But rather to yourself, and you just don't understand
All the power you have, through God the Father
We don't need a social college, cuz' He's our Alma Matter
He knew what'd happen, from beginning to end
He already knew the price, that's why His Son stepped in

So who's to blame for how things are
Is it the mega church pastors with the fancy cars
The truth is all the church, both big and small
We're the salt of the earth, supposed to pray for 'em all
Like an elf on a shelf, we just watch from afar
When we should be moving fast, like a shooting star
So when will you say enough is enough
Step in the mud, get down and get rough
Someone has to step up and stop this fraud
But it'll take all of us with the armor of God
Cause Knowledge is power, and fear is too
Don't believe me go read Psalm 19 verse 2
