We're all just spectators here at the circus
We're ready to jump through hoops and be duped by deceptive circus clowns
Yeah, they cut your mind in half
Half of it makes you forget about the money
While the other half makes you laugh

Yeah, you gotta tell yourself you're in a bad situation sometimes
Then you gotta take yourself out of that situation so you can avoid bummer times
Use your mind, think for yourself
Don't be a stooge for anyone else

Don't be distracted by the clown on the stage
Juggling in a state of rage

I tried to deprogram someone who was programmed by the big machine
But it's not as easy as it seems
You gotta tell them over and over and over again
The same message repeated in a loop
Countless times until they get it right

You can help them along
And teach them a song
But they still have to learn for themselves
What they were taught was wrong (so wrong!)

Look at that clown try to juggle the meaning of words
While he's juggling he's saying something absurd!

And when you're not looking
He's booking his assistants to pick-pocket your money
Let's be more aware of our surroundings
And pay attention to sustainability

Let's not be dumb about the environment
Let's be conscious of energy alternatives
We have to rethink everything in the 21st century
Do you want to be free?

Maybe after all these years of twists and turns we'll finally learn
When we fall through the trap door into the fire!
Dancing sharks in the rivers of fire

Don't jump to conclusions about all these illusions
Think about the integrity of your soul
Follow the breadcrumbs that lead you to the shining light
