It's time for fun and neat surprises

Excitement builds as I unwrap a present once again
But inside I find a set of notebooks and some matching pens
I asked for Lego

You got me the same as you did last year

I'll book these with all the others

Toiletries do I smell that bad

The little kids are playing with their new toys
Having lots of fun
The grown-ups with their books and fancy gadgets
Also having fun
But I'm just sitting here with clothes and pens at my feet
Try my best to still look overjoyed and upbeat
I wanted an iPhone
