It looks like you lost another one
Just another ghost in the graveyard,
Playing host to the souls
And the bones in the holes
where they laying all remains and praying to fake gods
With chains on the gates that stay locked,
You may not remain on the main lawn
So stray far away and take off,
Nay not today
I came of age in chaos and rain on parades,
While they march in place,
I play songs that break hearts in spades,
With more loss than gained,
Deranged thoughts,
A box of crayons
I create stars and draw the quasars in space
While we wage war when detentes decay,
I pay tribute
Cause hey, someday I may just fade with you
Got a range of strange issues displayed,
Misplaced rage, shifting the blame
Just to evade, and diffuse my aim,
This is insane, a shame, a waste of brains tissue
Just to maintain, this silly charade,
Quickly drifting into the fray,
Didn't think to escape
Restraints clang in that chang gang,
That bang bang, pistol whispers my name,
Wishful thinking as I whistle refrains,
Rearrange the pixels and frames,
So you can get the picture I paint
in hues of gray,
Infused with shade,
They misuse my name,
They must be mistaken,
Confused
But I refuse to change
So you can bury me alive if you want,
I got more friends that are dead than are not,
But would you let me live inside of your thoughts,
I'm just looking for some place I can haunt

And every step's an empty gesture,
Cause it never gets me any sense of getting better,
I'm shedding feathers
As this heavy leather tether kept me captured
In this misdirected vector,
Heading to the center of this deadly weather,
I'm very measured in my
Technique, I perfected the expression of displeasure,
And yes I am an expert and exceptionally clever
And eclectic in my desperate questionable quest that I've endeavored,
Daily waves are breaking under pressure,
Acceptance tends to be evasive and escapes me
And it's probably best that I forget
Yet I kept every single letter that I sent, buried in my chest of treasures
Directly next to all the things that I'll regret forever,
And all together are the ones who slowly die alone,
And the silence grows from dial tones,
On the other side of phones,
The island I am on
Is made entirely of piles of bones,
That I play like xylophones,
I reside within a pirate's cove
inside a giant skull,
My mind is stuck in fight or flight, like I'm in crisis mode
Rewinding time till I grow old and tired of the cycle,
Writing notes and ciphers
Trying to decipher codes,
Like a blind man typing,
I can't find the words to describe the sight of so much dying,
My eyes are like kaleidoscopes,
Winding and colliding
In a vibrant glow of lights and tones,
And violet roses dyed in white like snow,
I might just strike a pose,
And sit here like a stone,
In a wild grove
And mark the graves of someone I don't know,
I don't know
