By the kingdom, and it's for the kingdom
This is sermons over beats, look, aye
We all love to walk in with our Sunday best
Give a greeting as your seated but inside some may stay a mess
Don't get it twisted I'm talkin 'bout what you do with it after
My mission to be that difference so I pray y'all don't dismiss this rapping
We missed the great commission talking behind backs
Not living in conviction bring down them high hats and
Lift Jesus name high like you reaching to tip in that basket
No lie I backslid but God brought me back in time to get it cracking
Lord get our hearts cracking to the egg yoke
Don't forget us on the waves we in the same boat
Skip a meal man they starving for discipleship
If you ain't on this tip please consider who you oughta be riding with
Cuz time is ticking lost souls ain't just gonna find the way
Read it in Acts homie take some time out of your day and say
There's not enough fellas on this ship captain
Let's quit complaining & make some fellowship happen, uh
We all been put here for a purpose so
We search to know bringing hope to our hurting homes
God speak to our hearts give us that urge to grow
To take Your word with us after these curtains close
From the manger to the cross
Came as strangers now together we outreaching for the lost, uh
From the manger to the cross
Came as strangers now together we outreaching for the lost, aye
By the kingdom, it's for the kingdom
By the kingdom and it's for the kingdom
It's Christ's Kingdom, not your kingdom, not your kingdom
Aye, so we let the cat up out the bag
What you doing with that revelation, go & tell someone 'bout His plan
Don't trip cuz it's cool that we support across the map
But if there's no one in our streets we lost like we off the map
Modern day Christians kick it like it's all good
No fire in'em dried up like some raw wood
Give a happy meal to the poor is that what you call good
But Jesus died for the world like we all should
So turn down, let Christ turn up
Holy Spirit rain down 'til we all burn up
I came with a wicked heart fully furnished
Surely not ever deserving, but You say for certain I been purchased
Now I stand in service to Jesus call me a clergy
I can only imagine why you keep giving me mercy me, mercy me, mercy, uh
My true belief, this is more than just a song to play
We fall down to pray; deep down in awe we say
We all been put here for a purpose so
We search to know bringing hope to our hurting homes
God speak to our hearts give us that urge to grow
To take Your word with us after these curtains close
From the manger to the cross
Came as strangers now together we outreaching for the lost, uh
From the manger to the cross
Came as strangers now together we outreaching for the lost, aye
By the kingdom, it's for the kingdom
By the kingdom and it's for the kingdom
It's Christ's Kingdom, not your kingdom, not your kingdom
Aye, this ones for the community so I'm a keep it real
Kick them lies to the curb, man ain't no need to fear
Rep that truth check my lifestyle down to my Jesus gear
More important we falling short if He ain't in here
Call me Richard cuz I came with some priors
Face down at the altar Lord set me on fire
Fire in my heart from heaven yes it's blessed
That same power to make the dead resurrect
We got it in us if we stay hooked on God
We need to log into our Bibles & start facebooking God
Lord what do You like, what You got to say
Speak Your Word to me and I will obey
Lord what do You like, what You got to say
Speak Your Word to us and we will obey
Let the world see your light shine only God can save
Now what you got to say, aye what you got to say
We all been put here for a purpose so
We search to know bringing hope to our hurting homes
God speak to our hearts give us that urge to grow
To take Your word with us after these curtains close
From the manger to the cross
Came as strangers now together we outreaching for the lost
From the manger to the cross
Came as strangers now together we outreaching for the lost, aye
