I'm still on the rise, at the top of my game, and everybody gon' know my name,
And if you ever thought that I would fall off, "fall off"
I'll be at the top, yellin' that it only gets better from here,
It only gets better from here,
But they don't hear me though, but they be
All up on me when I'm in the city though

Life's a bitch, It bark on us, as times embark on us.
We tryna get this Fortune 500 Time Warner
Money be liberated, made eight dollars an a quarter,
Yeah, look at us now, our bosses bosses can't afford us.
This is grown man, B.I., we celebrating life with homies that we knew since knee high,
Cross colors and FILAS, flat tops, with Reeboks not bad for underachievers
Streets chilly, dodging jail, we sick of cells like T-Boz.
Ghetto kids chewing on shirt collars till they stretched out,
Couldn't wait to grow up look at us now, stressed out.
Parlay, we elevated all ways, Sade's with shades and chardonnays, yep.
No time for-living-in the-past, I'mma need you raise your glass,
It represents accomplishments we rarely ever have, f*ck your traditional ways, we making our own path

I'm still on the rise, at the top of my game and everybody gon' know my name,
And if you ever thought that I would fall off, "Fall off"
I'll be at the top yelling that it only gets better from here,
It only gets better from here,
But they don't hear me though, but they be all up on me when I'm in the city though.

We made it out the hood where the Gatsby, F. Scott's Fitzgerald, was taught not to settle
Until we top up levels.
Tryna stop the devil, ain't gonna Rob for Deniro,
Come on homie, we major, Othello of the ghetto.
Nice, price, of fame's the imitation of life.
Trying to end this generational plight, to my unborn child, hope your imagination takes flight.
Tryna make it to the top rhyming, from the rock bottom, eating top ramen now I rock
Bottom of the map.
Come, come and get your chalk lining, hope you choke lying, on the
Charts climbing, I ain't hard to find, so where you at.
Pinot Noir star, I got a bigger vision.
Hustle plus determination equals bigger living,
Never been romanced by never taking a chance, even if the plans fail, I'm cool with being a villain.

I'm still on the rise, at the top of my game and everybody gon' know my name,
And if you ever thought that I would fall off, "Fall off"
I'll be at the top yelling that it only gets better from here,
It only gets better from here,
But they don't hear me though, but they be all up on me when I'm in the city though

Bright lights, nightlife, light magic, right heights, quite nice, so classic,
Hype sights type price, couldn't imagine that type of money, crooked politicians couldn't match it.
Conquered all fears, supported all peers, y'all getting green, let me take a stab at it
Paul Pearce.
See this is chess not checkers, what it look like?
Cause all y'all do is take L's, now that's a good night.

I'm still on the rise, at the top of my game and everybody gon' know my name,
and if you ever thought that I would fall off, "Fall off"
I'll be at the top yelling that it only gets better from here,
it only gets better from here, but they don't hear me though, but they be
all up on me when I'm in the city though
Oh, oh, oh, oh
