Giant Rooks

Giant Rooks are an indie pop band from the city of Hamm in Germany. Founded in 2014, they gained attention in 2016 at the NRW KULTURsekretariat, winning the newcomer category of the popNRW-Preis. The group is composed of Frederik Rabe (vocals, guitar, percussion, synthesizer), Finn Schwieters (guitar), Luca Göttner (bass), Finn Thomas (drums) und Jonathan Wischniowski (piano, synthesizer).In 2015 they released their first EP, The Times Are Bursting the Lines. A second EP appeared the following year entitled New Estate. They performed as a supporting act with Razz, Kraftklub, Von Wegen Lisbeth and The Temper Trap and appeared at a few festivals in 2016.
