Life is too beautiful
To kill the innocent
All of us too blessed just
For a chance to live
Each moment we laugh
And fall in love
It makes it all worth it to give Someone else a chance to live
To feel, to be

Did you know that Singapore,
China, and Indonesia are 11 times Better than the United States
In terms of violence, gun deaths
Barely anyone dies of violent
Gun deaths, yet some stand on their High horse judging China while their Own country lets an 18-year-old
Buy automatic weapons and
Shoot up whoever they want to
Shame on you
We need to be better
We must

And yet at the same time, ironically, El Salvador and Venezuela
They have 11 times more than the U.S. of violent gun deaths
Yet how can Americans be outraged And judging other countries
When they let anyone buy and Convert automatic weapons
To not bear arms

Make it clear

But to make life unbearable
For parents of the innocent
Just like you
At least let it be a one-on-one
Fight that kills us
Not some gun from a distance
Yeah
We gotta say something about it

Cause life is too beautiful
To kill the innocent
All of us too blessed just for a chance
Each moment we laugh and
Fall in love
It makes it all worth it
Just for a chance to live, to give, to be

And I'm embarrassed as an American
Embarrassed at how some of our Presidents treated people
I'm embarrassed
That we think it's still 1776
Yet, to talk like on a phone and
Use technology, it's hypocrisy

And we don't have
Yes, we do
We have the best army in the world To bear arms for us and
That's enough
And we have more violent gun Deaths than Afghanistan
Yet we stand up and judge them

And we have more than 95% of Africa and that 5% is right next to us
How can we stand on our high horse
And these politicians and corrupt, Unjust lobbyists

Do not care about our country
Get it straight
Let it be known
And they don't care about our Children and parents of the innocent

Because if they did, they'd do Something about it
And they ain't doing shit
We need to stand up and talk about it And not forget about it
We need to make changes
Do things your family and
Future ancestors
Will always be proud of you for
And love each day like never before

I'm a lost soul writing this
And healing just a little more
Thanking God for all of this

Instead, we'd rather gun lobbyists And politicians blinded by money
Fears and favors lead the slaughter of Children in schools

Imagine your children showing up to School and getting shot up and killed
People are killing those just like them
The greatest insults to themselves And souls
Something they will always regret

As they sit in a cell for the rest of Their lives
Disgrace and people that blindly Follow the political party
Too afraid to say that some things Just ain't right
We don't have to be all or nothing
Like China by tomorrow
Yet we need to stop judging other Countries

When we are majorly lacking
In crucial areas
We can devote that time on Improving who we are
Rather than hypocritically wasting Time calling out dust
In your country brothers eyes,
We have a plank in our own eye

United States, listen
We need to talk about it
And not forget about it
We need to make changes,
Do things your family
And future ancestors
Will always be proud of you for
Find the pours like rain
Of humility and compassion

And greatest life lessons
And love each day like never before

I'm a lost soul writing this and Healing just a little more
Sweating in the hot studio of
August in Los Angeles
Thanking God for all of this

When will we stand up to our Friends
When will the politicians' wives
Yes, wives, listen
When will you stand up to your Husbands
That are politicians
And do what's right for all of us and The children
And celebrities so obsessed with how You see and they see you
When will you rise up and
Use your voice
And let your country and people Know that this is not okay

I'm out of breath and so are all of us
And it's breaking too many innocent Hearts
Just like yours, politicians, wives,
And celebrities
Just like yours, just like yours

They've lost their loved ones
It could have been you
Can you feel the heart and soul
The loss in the eyes of mothers
And fathers

That lost their babies and spouses
Acapella, the gasping cry,
Wishing it would all be over
Losing the greatest people and Treasures we've ever found
In an instant

Can never talk to them
We need to talk about it
We need to cry for it
And never give up
And not forget about it

We need to make changes
Do things your family
And future ancestors
Will always be proud of you for
Find the pours of humility and Compassion

Like the rains from the skies and the Rainforest
And the greatest life lessons and love Each day
Like never before
I'm a lost soul writing this and Healing just a little more

Thanking God for giving me all
I've prayed for and more

Life is too beautiful to kill
The innocent
All of us too blessed just for a chance
