And then he trips out into Rock & Roll Heaven

He's got the Rockin' Pneumonia and the Boogie-Woogie Flu
He likes to Shake it Rattle & Roll
Other than that he seems to be quite normal
So Great Balls of Fire until he joins the choir
Let the old guy rock and roll

Well Lawdy Lawdy Miss Clawdy 
Just look at him mowing his lawn
He's wearing Blue Suede Shoes and A White Sports Coat
And there's a Whole Lotta Shakin' goin on

He's got a brand new tattoo that says me and Peggy-Sue
Still get our thrills up on Blueberry Hill
Still share a shimmy and a shake at the soda fountain of youth
And I'm inclined to think we always will

He kinda let it get out of control
But other than that he seems to be quite harmless

And he sure does like to rock and roll

He's got a vinyl analogue addiction
Digital just gives him the blues
He gets his daily fix from Route 66
When he hears that needle in the grooves

He likes to Twist & Shout he like to turn it up loud
He's the master of his own domain

Long as the neighbours don't complain

They don't like to gawk they let him Rock Around The Clock
And he keeps right on Boppin' The Blues
Takes every opportunity to Roll Over Beethoven 
And tell Tzcaikovsky the news

You know it's understood in the neighbourhood
That he likes to Let The Good Times Roll
And in that respect he seems to be quite normal
So Be Bopa Lula what's it to ya
It's Only Make Believe it says so on the sleeve
