And you're thirty years late

Then I wake up thinking bout how before covid I almost got famous
Now it's only my mom who has all my songs on her playlist

One night you try to go make a baked potato in the microwave
And you set it on fire
Your dad always takes your trash on Friday's
Wonder if he feels the same going to High School football games
Even though he's retired
Speaking of tired I had aspired
Wrote several hundred songs and by now
I thought I'd be singing them on bigger stages into better crowds

And our biggest inspiration now is who we were as a kid
Back then we would wonder how old we would be when we'd figure it out
But life's not to figure life's just to live and that's a fact
