Why do you have so many haters
And why do you care so much for their hate
Are you guilty of the words that they say
Or innocent of the hate that they portray
Why do you always feel so down
Or are there more attachments to your frown
Is it because you're arrogant, fake and/or ruthless and that's why you put on the shame
Or because you're brilliant, dutiful and/or successful and that's what wears you the blame
Or because you're from a poor background but getting it
Reason they detest your ascension to fame
Or because in all that you choose to do, you're wonderful
So they victimize your status
And defame your name
By so emotionally conditioning you into hating yourself for being useful
And being true
All the same
See, if the former is the issue
It's highly beneficial you refrain
But if the latter is the case, then what's the essence for your pain
I mean, nobody's in charge of your happiness unless you choose to give it away
You're only being a victim of your Stunning excellence
So do not get diverted
Astray
So they aim to suppress your joy by trying to take away your voice
Since all they can't be is you
Then they target your choice
They do not commend your efforts even when you dispense your all but
Are quick to be in attendance at a supposed venue
For your downfall
Look, your being true
Owes no one no explanation
Your happiness owes no one no regret
Your success owes no one no apology
Likewise as your being you
Owes no one no pretense
I mean, you cannot dagger your joy to nurture the pleasure of the next man
If coexistence isn't game, then switch on to a next plan
There're much more to living than sustaining an ache-prone friendship
Never fake your reality in the face of hate or discontent
Forgo every performance of showmanship
Quit being too hard on yourself, mate
I mean, life in itself is aggressive enough
I mean, you're flesh plus blood plus bones, mind and soul
A divine concoction making you an intricate mortal
A progeny of Homo sapiens perfected with flaws and designed for a course
Your imperfections only distinctly affirm to the perfect human that you are
So, if your greatness causes their ill-stare and discomfort
Then I guess they are just worthy of being fine from afar
See, do not get manipulated by shock
Truth is, it's everything usual not to be loved by everybody
I mean, Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, was and is still not loved by everybody
Jesus, peace be upon him, was and is still not loved by everybody
Michael Jackson, one of world's renowned entertainers of all time
Was and I believe even in death is still not loved by everybody
Even God, the creator of the universe and all that exists is not loved by everybody
Then tell me, who are you to break the norms of reality and get loved by everybody
See, just live out your values in honesty and help spread positivity
Do well to distance yourself as much as you can from negativity
And to you, dear hater, know that everyone cannot be living their life to the thirst of your expectations
Everyone cannot be put to their knees by the test of your tension
You cannot be let to define a person's strife around the taste for your appraisal
Neither will you be let to design a person's life around the strength of your approval
We cannot be vulnerable to your treat after facing the scorching treat of life's trials
