I think there's something I'm blind to
Mind you everyone is different of course

People have their own reasons
Their agendas kept in secret
Because they know if what they are scheming
Would be brought out from the dark
That their tomb of lies would fall apart
It's a house of cards that leaves the question
Who set it all up
There must be something I am blind to
What is the situation you're in
Is treating other people like this really the only solution
I wanna give you the benefit of the doubt
But honestly
A part of me thinks
You just couldn't care less to figure it out

It seems like it comes with the day and age we live in
So caught up with what other people think and their opinions
Forgetting to look within at what's really important.
