I lived in Dogtown for over 5 years off of 6th not the condo by the pier
I've lived in Lincoln Heights also in Alta-Dena
I was in South Beach for years & it was theatre
I was in Ft Meyers, I was also in Deerfield

So where you at cuz I was out in immokalee
Trying to find a new way because my children won't talk to me
Who the f*ck I got to be to share some comradery
I never get to see you and how wasn't that robbery

And stayed broke no credit cards no corporations
Till I was out there slanging doordash for 40 dollar rations
The fact is you can't avoid it anymore or escape them
The system is broken but that's how they making it
Bent like the rent has gone up exponentially
Aside from the fact that most renters won't rent to me
But I still exist for almost half of a Century and STILL trying to figure out exactly I'm meant to be
And isn't that a sin how they took what was sent for me all for themselves and kept kicking and cursing me
And the more you learn The More you know you Don't know Jack
