Isaiah, are you okay

Going to the grocery store I'm writing down a list
Take a second look I think there are a few things that I missed
I got the milk and eggs
And I got the bread and butter too
And the drink I love so much
You know I got the Mountain Dew
Walking down the isles and I see a bag of chips
You know that I can not resist the taste when they meet my lips
I throw em in the cart
This is just the start
Of an epic journey in the store
It is time that I explore
Walking down the isles and I see my favorite snack
If you try to take them from me I am willing to attack
I'm clutching those slim Jim's with both of my arms
If you see me go without them better be on your guard

Walking down the isle and I see a pretty girl
You know I had to get her number cause she's pretty as a pearl
She wrote her number down on the list that I made
I told her hope to see you soon, you have a good day
Later that day when I was feeling alone
I couldn't help but to think of her I picked up the phone
I said hey, how you been wanna go out and eat
I'll get you whatever you want it'll be my treat
She said yeah sure thing you can pick me up at seven
At that moment I knew that I was going to heaven
When I walked up to her door and saw her beautiful smile
I knew that this date was gonna be
worthwhile
We sit down at the table and we have a nice time
I think this is the girl that I could be with for a lifetime
Because she's pretty as a butterfly
I didn't wanna say goodbye
So we sat together on her porch and watched the cars go by

A few weeks later we were out on a date
We had a nice time but it was getting pretty late
We got inside the car and I gave her a kiss
I never would've thought that we'd end up like this
Driving her home I put my hand on her thigh
She said I had a nice time you're a really good guy
I'd really love it if you'd take me out again
Of course I obliged and I asked her when
Driving on home just as happy as can be
Knowing in my heart that she's the perfect one for me
Maybe someday I'll be down on one knee
Just waiting for her answer hoping that she'll choose me
Walk inside my house and my stomach starts to growl
Looking for a snack you would think I'm on the prowl
I couldn't find a thing and I checked every drawer
Now it's time to go on back to the grocery store
